Providence, RI – The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly recognizes Daniella Teape, MD, for her outstanding contributions to pediatric pulmonology and her dedication to advancing respiratory care for children. Since September 2017, following the completion of her fellowship, Dr. Teape has been serving at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, where she provides specialized care to young patients with complex respiratory conditions. Her expertise includes treating asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and primary ciliary dyskinesia, as well as caring for children with neuromuscular disorders that impact breathing. Dr. Teape earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York and completed her residency at New York University Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola. She further advanced her training through a prestigious fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Teape is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University, where she is actively engaged in research focused on respiratory dysfunction. She is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology, Dr. Teape is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Thoracic Society. She has been awarded multiple research grants from both the American Thoracic Society and the National Institutes of Health, supporting her ongoing work in asthma and ciliary dysfunction. With a strong commitment to clinical excellence, research innovation, and patient-centered care, Dr. Teape continues to build a growing national and international reputation as an expert in pediatric respiratory health.
